Gwyneth Paltrow's Record Deal Dead For Now

Gwyneth Paltrow's talks for a record deal have crumbled, the New York Post reported Tuesday. In March, Paltrow, 38, was reportedly close to a deal with Atlantic Records to record a country album. There was a lot of buzz around, but the excitement has died. Atlantic Records no longer has an interest in Gwyneth. It is believed the she was distracted by other opportunities in her busy career, including possible movie roles and her new cookbook. There are also rumours she might turn up for a few surprise appearances on this summer's Glee tour.
